Executive Summary

The Multichain Sequencer for Apps is a zk-powered interoperability infra that enables trustless, low-latency cross-chain execution for protocols across Ethereum, L2s, and soon alt-L1 ecosystems.

The client sequences transactions from multiple source chains, batches them, and requests validity proofs through the Boundless Prover Network. These proven batches are then delivered to destination chains with minimal latency.

ZK-proofs, light-client verification, and built-in reorg protection together guarantee system correctness, without relying on trusted intermediaries or coordination from rollups.

Developers can also define custom sequencing logic and leverage optional liquidity rebalancing for their protocols.
